Its like if you have two sons, and one was a drug addict and one was not. It doesn't mean you love the one who isn't more than the one who is a drug addict it just means you have favor with the one who doesn't . Like you wouldn't lend money to the drug addict incase he/she would spend it on drugs but you have favor with the one who isn't a drug addict so you are more than likely to lend them the money than the drug addict.
