You're right. I care that he is a sanctimonious twit who gets far too much attention for his idiotic far-left propagandist messages, as well as his bad "art." But I really don't care what he thinks about anything, given his political bent already tells me what he's going to say before he says anything.

I'm sure you think that's a terribly pithy remark. What it actually reveals about you, however, is blind ignorance. It is absurd to suggest that all artists lean toward the political left or that all "great" art caters to politically/socially liberal views. Unfortunately, that suggestion dominates the core of how the culture of art is explored -- the suggestion has been cultivated for decades by art magazines, the majority of art exhibits, and the blunt of museum art exhibits as well. It has also been cultivated at most college/university art departments throughout the United States -- some art students having said they were informed, "That kind of work is not done here.", by their instructors after exploring conservative political and social themes openly in a positive manner.
That makes it difficult for artwork done along conservative themes to be reviewed, shown, or become widely know. But a couple years ago, Brian Sherwin, a regular -- and conservative -- contributor to Fine Arts Review, was challenged by Jerry Saltz to find 25 conservatively themed artists whom 1) Sherwin did not personally know, and 2) had been producing art for at least one year. Saltz said if that many could be found, he would produce a showing of their work. When Sherwin found them, Saltz immediately backed out.
This is typical of the cowardly liberals that attempt to shape our news, our entertainment, our art and, as a result, our minds. When confronted with the truth they've been denying for far too long, they suddenly show themselves for who they are: Narrow-minded, weak-kneed individuals who lack the character to be proven wrong. You appear to be among them.
