Hey guys I'm new here and just wanted to post something I've wrote. I've never published anything before so tell me what you think about it if you want :)



Listen to the breath of the ocean
Let me take your hand
Hear the lonely cry of emotion
Draw me hope in sand

And there's a shine that I can't see
Something that tells me to believe
Jesus helps my soul to breathe
And his holy name will help me through the darkness in my heart

Through the darkness in my brain
New blood floods into my veins
And it takes away the pain
Like waves flood the beach

The water takes me away
...
To your holiness
I'm homeless

My home lays in your arms

So hold me
