I recently heard President Obama speaking out on climate change in the news again, and how many claim the facts of man’s science proves it to be true, and even how this science of man’s cannot be denied as true. Well I don’t put much faith in man’s science but I do know what the words of God say is true, and a little sea level rise and temperature change should be the least of their worries. 
The climate is no doubt going to change when the elements melt with fervent heat, but the world leaders and man’s science will be unable to stop what they have brought upon themselves by defiling and destroying the earth through covetousness and greedy gain. It is written “The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.”
This my friends is a fact, and the Truth you can count on according to the words of God; This present earth and the works therein are determined to be burned up.
In 2 Peter 3:7 we read “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
In 2 Peter 3:10 we read “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”
2 Peter 3:12 “Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?”
I believe Peter was confirming by the Holy Spirit what was previously shown to the prophets of old concerning the fate of the earth and the inhabitants left therein at the coming of the Lord. Let’s see if we can gain some more insight into Peter’s testimony above by more scripture.
Psalm 46:6 “The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.”
Psalm 97:3-6 “A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.[SUP]4 [/SUP]His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.[SUP]5 [/SUP]The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.[SUP]6 [/SUP]The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.” (every eye shall see Him Revelation 1:7)
Nahum 1:5-6 “The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.[SUP]6 [/SUP]Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.”
In Isaiah 24:1 we read “Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.” And again we see the mention of the inhabitants of the earth being burned up in verses [SUP]5 [/SUP]The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.”
Zechariah 14:12 “And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.”
Luke 17:29-30 “But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.[SUP]30 [/SUP]Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”
