I'm guessing it's likely the default is to have a report button on every post so no reason to go in and take the time to change it.
Same with likes. But it makes sense to prevent people from liking their own posts so the effort was made.

Lol I don't have a serious answer. Sorry JesusMyOnly. My guess is it's either vBulletin (the software used for the site) or that's simply how site staff decided to roll with things when they introduced the 'Like' feature (the 'Like' feature was introduced well after the Report button).

From my point of view, "liking" your own posts borders on narcissism. That aside, the report feature is standard to the vBulletin programming that the forums run on and unless I'm mistaken the "like" feature is an add on. Actually we have had a few people report their own posts because after the edit time had expired they began to wonder if they had overstepped the bounds.

I'm sure this is a Blond error.....I have sent many messages to myself.....not happy about it either as it tells me that loosing my mind is just around the corner.....lol
