For me, I eat less, so am skinny. Even though I know I want to eat, and I should, I don't because often times I find I have no appetite and wander the pantry for 30 minutes then realize I'm not actually hungry, I'm just acknowledging the physical need to eat when my body consumed by loneliness has no desire.

Human beings are social creatures. Extreme loneliness can affect a person's physical and psychological health. Consequences could be low self-esteem and depression.
