The college group that I'm a part of joined with another Christian campus group tonight and I joined their praise team. Now I've sung in a gospel choir, but never done the praise team in a black church. We had four songs picked out and when we practiced they were speaking a whole different language. It took me a while to figure out what they were saying, but it all worked out.
They had me sing the second song, "how he loves us". It was way out of my comfort zone but I thought "hey, why not? I'm worshipping God, why not be a fool for Jesus?" Anyway, the song went well though it was uncomfortable. They wanted the whole set in one key which meant I was soarin on my song. Somewhere near the end I began praying. I wasn't praying to end. I was simply worshipping through prayer, and then went back into the chorus. Apparently in thy group mid-song prayer is not "allowed". The leader got up and me us on into the next part of the night. I thought it was hilarious.

That's not humor. That's pure joy of the Lord. Now you're bilingual, too.
