Dappled in sunshine, cover in green.
Summer days waning in Sepember,
Beautiful love growing in December
As the leaves turn yellow and red and fall
The snow will cover the ground after all
Blanketing remnants of the previous year,
Waiting for new life, sometimes a tear.
As we grow and follow
Our lives bursting like the flower
In the coming times of joy and sorrow,
We look and love not only today,
But the visions of what will come tomorrow.
