The penalties for sin vary
the second death doesn't vary.

Rev_20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Rev_20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev_21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

All sin is not the same in the eyes of the lord sorry can't agree sin is sin.
i agree that the punishment will vary, but it isn't up to us to judge the motives, so when the final judgement comes and GOD punishes the wicked, He will be just and fair as fair as what each person recieves. But it will all End in death for the wicked.

which one of these sins did the serpent commit in the garden

There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: 17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, 19 a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.

what happens in this world is not fair and conteminated with sin. God will make all answer for their unforgiven sins. Thats why God will raise the wicked in the second resurrection and punish them.

The devil is the father of sin.. It started with him.

sinners are also described as the wicked to in the bible, so I don't think you can separate the two

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. .....(the second resurrection)
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

If we are in the book of life we will not be judged. Jesus was judged for us. If we are judged according to our works we will be guilty. But Jesus was perfect and we can, by faith be free from our works.

Justification by faith = The gift of righteousness to cover us, so we can appear as if we have never sinned. we can stand without guilt and as if we were never wicked.
The wicked are those that don't recieve justification. They are seen as sinners before God.

Two groups .................100% guilty or 100% Guiltless.

One or the other. No half way.

the guily will recieve eternal death.
The guiltless will recieve eternal life.

Justification is a gift but it isn't automaticly given to all. God is judge.
