Folks talk a lot about eternity. He is a definition I found on the web years ago:

Imagine an iron ball the size of the earth. Once every hundred years a bird sharpens its beak and wears away a little of the iron. When that iron ball is completely worn away, that is the start of eternity.

the definition of eternaty to me is to spend my life wth jesus in eternal love n joy heaven as i can only imagine it to be is in eternal beauty as i can see

Both Greek and Hebrew has a doubled word that resembles a plural, l'olam or until the ages, and aeons of aeons. It's a little like the English "ages of ages". That's just a little different from our idea of a process with no end, like how high can you count.
