I Know Places Of Worship Are Exempt From The ADA (At Least In The United States) And Can Deny Access To Service Dogs And I Was Wondering If You Think That It Would Be A Good Reason Not To Attend Church Services Since A Person Is Dependent On A Service Dog Due To A Disability. The Only Possible Way One Who Requres A Service Dog To Attend Services Is If Both The Person And Dog Is Allowed Access Inside The Building.

I don't know of any church that would deny someone to fellowship with them because of this. However, if such a church exists, then I fully agree that this would be a reason not to attend THAT PARTICULAR church. Doesn't mean one can not search out another congregation of believers to worship with. My church would not forbid someone fellowship because they were dependent on a "service dog."

I agree with P_rehbein's post and will also add that any group (so called church ) that would forbid access by a disabled person and or their dog that is needed for their wellbeing is at best (sorry) and does not deserve the title (church)
