Tough love is part of unconditional love, I think. You can't spare the rod. Make sure you are using the rod for the right reasons, though.

First of al welcome to CC designed. I think you need a healthy balance between unconditional love and tough love. There's a point where you have to lay down the line and say no that's not acceptable. But you also need to let your son know that you love him no matter what. I hope this advice is useful to you. :)

AGAPE love is biblical....i think thats unconditional love....we do not know why you asked him to leave.....lets pray that he stays safe and learn his lessons and will come home safely...stay Blessed and keep up the faith!!
