A Church in 1876 wanted to build a new Church in Swan Quarter N.C. They wanted to build on high ground in the town. The property they wanted, the owner would not sell it to them. He said he would not sell the property for a Church to be built on. After several attempts the Church gave up and built on another location. Three days after completion a hurricane blew in and flooded the coastal town. The Church washed off the blocks and floated down the street. The people tied ropes to it to stop it from floating away. They could not hold it. It floated down the street, around two corners and ended up on the land, turned toward the road. The landowner gave them the property. All the Church had to was jack it up and block it. Was this God in action. What do you think. The Church is there today. I live across the river where it is. You can check this out on the internet. Key in Church in Swan Quarter N.C., floats.
