this is something no one has ever been able to explain to me what this is and why it happens not even doctors. every now and then some thing happens to me, i call them deja vu attacts because out of nowhere these things come and i feel so queezy and i know what is about to happen before it happens because it feels like it happened before even though it has not. the deja vu is so powerful i can't even move or think knowing it fits perfectly into the deja vu so i curl up and do nothing until the attack goes away. everytime this happens the same question pops into mind [ god what is this and why does it always happen to me?]

I've had them.

Your brain is quicker than you think. - You see stuff before you realize you see it.

I suspect what it truly is is this (though this is just my own private theory ) :
Maybe "deja vu" is your subconsciousness already having picked up on what the more concious part of your brain is telling you is happening?

I agree completely, Blain. Most deja vu is the brain getting confused as to when it sees things. But, when it is an attack in your own body, the brain is probably just picking up things before they happen.

There is authentic prophetic visions of course, but that's a different thing; it does not feel like deja vu, ordinarily. Some poeple say there is also a demonic counterfeit of these visions, the devil trying to mislead you into thinking you have some special gift. If it's God, He'll make sure you know what He wants, so don't trust visions.

In any event, just rejoice at the wonderful universe God made, and how He is beyond our sense of time and causation.

I've read that there is a section of the brain that triggers deja vu. Although deja vu is common I don't find your reaction to be. You describe it as debilitating. If it was me, I'd be getting it checked out. Don't take chances with your brain.

When i was young i got deja vu all the time. Now, i rarely get it. But when i did get it, i would often get dizzy spells and it would take me a few seconds to recover. I never took my reactions as far as you, though. Mostly for me it was a few seconds then it passed. Then the dizziness would go with it. I've never understood why they happened, and why they decrease more and more as i get older.

Someone told me it is like youve done something already, that it is because the Lord is omnipotent and omnipresent.
Its like your suppose to recognize that moment . I almost got hit by a pickup due to someone running from the law.he ran the red light
but everything went into slow motion, the light changing, shifting gears , stopping ect. It would have killed my youngest son who was 3
at that time where he was setting in car. After I stopped the pickup hit a pickup that was proceeding on opposite side
Praise God no one was hurt
