There is only one way (John 3:36 and 14:6) (Acts 4:12) ( 1 Timothy 2:5). God gives us clear directions. All we have to do is follow them, and we will arrive there ( Isaiah 45:22) ( Hosea 13:4) (Ephesians 2:8,9) (2 Thessalonians 1:9) (1 John 1:7,9 and 4:15). It may seem to be incorrect to say there is only one way BUT IT IS THE TRUTH! Why can we except one way for so many other things in life, but when it comes to Heaven, we suddenly develop a loose, anything-goes attitude? You can believe your own opinion, or you can believe Jesus ( John 14:6) (Acts 4:12) It is your choice. Are you willing to gamble your most valuable asset ( YOUR SOUL ) on simply your feelings? ( John 15:13 ).

It doesn't make sense to have multiple ways to heaven. If there were other ways to heaven, then why would God bother with that whole Jesus and the cross thing? If there was a plan B, there would have been no reason to have Jesus come to earth and die on the cross, so He may as well have not done that. And since plan B is there, there's no point to establishing plan C, so cross off plan C.

See, it just doesn't make sense to have multiple paths to salvation. Jesus is THE way, THE truth, and THE life. No one comes to the Father EXCEPT THROUGH HIM. Now that makes a lot more sense.

This thread is a wonderful reminder of that. From the time of Cain and Abel, it is only through Christ's blood. They couldn't see the real thing, yet, in Cain's time and had to go by the shadow, but it was still only the blood. Today it is still only the blood, only grace, only what happened at the resurrection.

But still, some people use narrow mindedness! After our salvation is guaranteed through blood and grace, we are to grow in our walk. cc has posts after posts saying if we do anything it is works, legalism, putting ourselves under law. How could we be under law when we have forgiveness available! They say we put ourselves under law by trying to obey law, as if we could obey it perfectly. God tells us to do, God tells us to repent, God tells us to worship and praise Him. We are not to tell God that we already have eternal life, we have the pay off, why should we work? God says it isn't those who only hear the word, but those who obey.

It's ok. I could see how my post could be misunderstood as some sort of sarcasm, but I used the caps for emphasis, not sarcasm.
