Lord,
Enlarge first of all my heart,
Make its capacity for love even greater.
In its endeavors to protect me from hurt,
I find that it has grown small.

Enlarge the place of ministry you have for me.
Push back its walls - its boundaries.
Give me the faith to see what lies beyond,
And the unlimited work you still have to do.

Enlarge the place of faith in which I stand,
So that doubt and fears cannot creep in,
And I will not be tempted to fall,
Make my steps sure.
