i END UP HVING TO SCROLL BACK AND FORTH THROUGH EVERY LINE TO READ A THREAD . i GIVE UP AS IT IS EXHAUSTING BUT MY EYESIGHT REQUIRES ME TO HAVE LARGER LETTERING ./ aLSO .. i ZOOM IN ON THE CHAT ROOMS AND ONLY THE BACKGROUND GTS BIGGER ... NEVER THE ACTUAL LETTERS IN THE CHAT ROOM .; tHIS IS A PROBLEM FOR ME .... JUST HOPING THERE IS SOMETHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT SO I CAN ENTER INTO THE FORUMS

I had the same problem with the forums - not so much the type size, but the line length made reading almost impossible for me, especially on this small laptop screen. I brought up the subject here, but there wasn't any interest in reducing the width of the thread text box.

There are a couple of things you may be able to do. Go into your browser's options and you may be able to set the minimum size for fonts. You can change the default display font to something more readable - I suggest a sans serif typeface, specifically Verdana.

Besides browser Zoom, IE has a Text Size function that is nice in situations like this, that enlarges text but not graphic elements. Unfortunately it doesn't have any effect on the forum fonts.

The best user-based solution is to apply a style sheet to the forum as it loads on your machine. Firefox has Stylish and Chrome has Stylist. Both are extensions that allow changing the way a page displays. I'm on Chrome and I've used Stylist to reduce the thread table, which is where the text displays, to 50% of its original width. This brings line lengths down to about 75 characters or so, which is where they should be for ease of reading.

If you want to do that and need help, I'd be glad to share my style sheet with you. Possibly the same thing could be done for the chat rooms, but I'm not sure.

Currently there is the possibility in a lot of browsers: click on the page, then push CTRL + scrollwheel. In Chrome (as I tried) it should work with CTRL + scrollwheel.
