Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man James 1:1

Lead definition: cause (a person or animal) to go with one by holding them by the hand, a halter, a rope, etc.

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41

incorrect: And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. KJV

correct: And do not let us enter into temptation, but deliver us from error. Because thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory for ever and ever. Amen. Lamsa
