I believe that the temple will not be rebuilt by men. When Jesus said that it would be destroyed and that He would rebuild it, I believe that He literally meant the temple (not just His body) and that it would be set in place on Mount Zion at His coming on the day of the Lord. This appears to be in agreement with all scripture on this subject. Was curious at to what you think about this.
