Mighty Creator, time is in your hands
We live our lives each day
Trying to control all our plans
Than we wonder why
Things are not going just right
If we could learn to have faith
Our paths would be bright
It's just that simple
Yet we make it so hard
We have to fight temptation
Never to let down our guard
Learn to give it all up
Waiting only for you
You're patiently waiting
And helping us too
Sometimes we forget you
Letting our lives go astray
Never remembering
We are not promised another day
But you never give up

Help me to keep faith
