I come along side you in prayers for your mother. Mothers are special people and I am sorry you will have to witness her struggle with this.

Dear Father,

We ask that you give healing and comfort and peace to AgeofKnowledge mother. We ask that you give her the strength to endure what ever comes at her in the healing process. We ask that you give her daughter the strength and wisdom to know exactly what to say and do for her mother so that while she is in her presence; your light will shine brightly.

In Jesus name, Amen

Dear AOK:

May this be a grand opportunity for you and your Mom to see just how Great is our God!

My cousin's hubby is currently doing chemo for Leukemia; therefore, my heart and prayers are with you both as with my own. At the end of the day, we belong to Christ, and in Him we live and move and have our being, for faithful is He who calls us!

The medical practice has come a LONG way with this form of cancer!!!

Heavenly Father, You have a plan for all of us. We know that through your Word, all things work for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. We know that you are in control and never wish us harm. Lord, we pray for YOUR will to be done in AoK and her mom. We ask for your love and comfort during this challenging and scary time. We know that we aren't to worry, but recognize the flesh is weak. Strengthen us Lord to accept and not worry. Lord we BOLDLY ask for complete healing and our understanding if you have a better plan. Guide the doctors to make good choices and provide the best treatments. Lord we give you the Glory! In JESUS name, Amen!

I'm so sorry. God's blessings on you. I am praying for God to have His healing hand on her. I pray for a circle around your mom of people to pray for her, support her, hug her, encourage her, and love her. God bless.

Update: It's a miracle. The second opinion with the cancer specialist was all good news. ALWAYS get a second opinion. It is much smaller than first thought and will simply be removed without a mastectomy. The specialist said early diagnosis makes this easy to treat with modern technology and given my mother's age, the specialist said she should live out her natural life. Ladies, ALWAYS get your annual physical. Yeah!

Praying for you, your mother, and family and friends.

If you have the time show her these two verses

'And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
Therefor I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake for when I am weak, then am I strong."

I hope this helps. :)

Well mom's coming along fine. But my friend May, a Pinoy from the Philippines, went to be with the Lord today. She died of cancer in the hospital. She was 23 years old and leaves behind a two year old son and a grieving husband. Her last words were 'bye mom' which is strange since her mother's been dead for years.

I'm glad to hear your mom is going well but I will still pray for her. Also I will be praying for May's husband and her little one. May the Lord bless you and your family, AofK.
