The only 'good' reason for divorce is if there is danger (i.e. habitual affairs, abuse, drug and sex addictions, etc.). Beware of worldly excuses. If one spouse wants out and refuses to seek God, so be it, but make sure it isn't you. With the limited exceptions above, marriage is forever. Marriage is a high calling. God hates divorce period. End of discussion. As I said, if there is danger, get out. However, this is the rarest of reasoning for divorce, just as danger to an unborn child or mother makes up for only 1% of abortion. Christians are treading extremely dangerous grounds in both realms.
That said, divorce does not make one less in God's eyes. You do not lose value to Him. However, the church oftentimes fails to value its family, and divorced people are treated differently. If divorce is unavoidable due to danger or your spouse refusing to work through the hard times, focus on your value in God because rest assured you will face condemnation in the eyes of others.
