satan chose to rebel against God, he got proud. So proud in fact he refuses to admit he's wrong and repent so therefore he has become bitterly twisted and evil, you can see this same manifestation in some people if you know how to see it. We're involved in this because he is trying to turn all of creation against God to his side, his way of life and way of thinking and succeeded in his deception through Eve and now we all by nature reap the consequence of their choice but Jesus made a way out.

Satan was once God's angel until he got prideful thinking he can be like God. And got kicked out of heaven. He is condemned to hell, so he is trying to bring as many people with him. Follow Christ my brother.

Since God knows all things, He knew satan would rebel before He created him. So, I always wondered if it was planned that satan would be there to give us as humans a choice in free will. If there was not choice of heaven or hell and no temptation, would there be free will? Don't have a scripture, please feel free to critique as necessary. I don't want to lead anyone astray.

The devil was a good angel when God created him but the devil rebelled against God and became evil angel.

Ezekiel 28

[SUP]11 [/SUP]Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

[SUP]15 [/SUP]Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

[SUP]16 [/SUP]By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

[SUP]17 [/SUP]Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

[SUP]18 [/SUP]Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

[h=3]Proverbs 16[/h]King James Version (KJV)

16 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Isaiah 14
[SUP]2 [/SUP]How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! [SUP]13 [/SUP]For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

[SUP]14 [/SUP]I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

[SUP]15 [/SUP]Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

[SUP]16 [/SUP]They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
[SUP]17 [/SUP]That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
[SUP]18 [/SUP]All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]For I will rise up against them, saith the Lord of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the Lord.
