Monday 7-24-23 2nd. Day Of The Weekly Cycle, AV 6 5783, 34th. Summer Day

John 4 NIV

Thursday 12-29-22 5th. Day Of The Weekly Cycle, Tevet 5, 5783 9th. Winter Day

What does the Bible say about God is a spirit?
“God is spirit,” He declared, “and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). God is spirit. There is no article in the Greek text before the word spirit, and that emphasizes the quality or essence of the word. Furthermore, the word spirit occurs first in the sentence for emphasis. The literal idea would be something like, “Absolutely spirit in His essence is God.” Jesus did not leave any doubt about this truth.

2 Corinthians 5 KJV

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Jesus's Divinity is soo important to us:

By virtue of his divine nature, he is able to earn for us eternal life and favor with God. Finally, the divinity of Christ means that he is able to be raised from the dead (after conquering it) and therefore apply the benefits he has earned for us.

Revelation Of The Person Of The King

Matthew 16 NIV Especially Verses 13-20

Acts 8:37, Hebrews 1:2, 5, 1 John 4:15

Bible Gateway passage: Acts 8:37, Hebrews 1:2, Hebrews 1:5, 1 John 4:15 - King James Version
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

God is Spirit not a spirit. Your posting of the 1st scripture has it right which differs from your post title. They are not interchangeable. Translations such as the kjv say "God is a spirit" however the original Greek interlinear simply says "God is spirit". There is a difference.
