I know this isn't an intro..but i've been here for a while anyway.

I need some help if any of you happen to be extra techy..I'm having issues with my Flash Player. I think the problems actually started a few weeks ago when the chat room here started freezing up, and then chat and things like youtube would freeze my computer solid. This would happen several times in a row and I didn't know what to do about it.

Someone suggested it might be the flash, so I was going to re-install it. I didn't get that far, because while I was in the chat room earlier I froze. I left, and when I came back I got a message saying I needed to install Flash Player. After re-installing it, chat no longer works right.
I can't see any of the text, but smiley's do show up for some reason. I can see people on cam or the avatars while people are talking, but I can't see their names while they're talking.

Anyone have any ideas on what's wrong and how I can fix this? It would be much appreciated, thanks!

Did you try restarting your browser?
Did you try restarting your computer?

Usually, the computer or just the browser need to be restarted after a program has been installed/re-installed.

Neither of those are the problem. I have restarted my computer, and browser several times.

See I'm not sure if that will help either. CC is the only site it's not working on. It works fine on other sites that use flash, including another chat site I tried after re installing.

Hmmm... I would try uninstalling/reinstalling it again just to make sure. I am very techy, but eh, I am terrible at troubleshooting without actually touching the PC lol...

Dude..I have uninstalled and reinstalled this stupid thing about 12 times..ok maybe not quite that man.
I did notice when looking at global setting for flash that it was glitching just doing that without having anything else flash related running..maybe my computer is finally just shot and CC chat was the first to go..
