Hi, how to delete alert list?

Looked in alerts and did not see a "mark as read" or other, how do i delete the list?

I am not sure but ...click on your icon ....go to preferences and open..... check "content options"
Typically any post you respond to you get an alert ...you are the only one who sees your alert (on the post) ...and eventually the alerts cease (like when Christ comes back)
