Hi I would not call myself an interpretor of dreams - But I have had a number of dreams over the years which I consider to be Godly dreams.
For me personally they are not like normal dreams and are usually very symbolic. For example i see pictures, words, objects etc. I often have the same dream three nights in a row, or the same dream three times the same night but set out in different ways. Those I really take notice of!
One thing I would say is that I always go the to Bible, God will never give you a dream which contradicts his word.
I also find it useful to write all my dreams down, sometimes a dream can be given, but the interpretation comes much later when you are ready to
receive it or when the time is right.
Also I do share my dreams with close friends for the purposes of accountabiliy.
If God has given you a dream, then there is no reason to believe he will not show you the interpretation at some point, so prayer about it.
I had a rather complicated dream once and I really stuggled to understand it. I prayed for understanding and for God to show me, in the same way he
showed Joseph. Later on I was listening to a tape recording of the bible and smack bang in the middle of the recording was the interpretation.
Hope this helps.
God Bless.
