Don't you get tired of meeting people who seem to say this to you in their actions and treatment of you?
What is the Christian response to such an action?
Do you ignore it?
Do you rebuke them?
Do you pray for them?
what does God tell us to do?
the reasons they think they are "better keepers of the law" "wiser" "more righteous" "more deserving", etc can be varied and different. they may be older, more educated, wealthier, etc.
however there is one thing that they will never be BETTER or MORE of, and that is if you are a child of God, then they can NOT be more holy, more loved or more righteous
because God loves YOU and has washed you clean of YOUR SINS with the blood of the Lamb and clothed you in His righteousness and that is the breastplate that guards your heart from the lies of Satan and his children.
God bless and keep you all.
as for how you should respond to those who think they are better than you, I would really like to see some scriptures that would help me understand.
a few come to mind but I wonder if they would be appropriate.
