On November 13, 2014, U.S. Rep. Rush Holt (NJ-12) invited Imam Hamad Ahmad Chebli, religious leader of the Islamic Society of Central Jersey (ISCJ) in Monmouth Junction, to give the opening prayer in the House of Representatives

Who cares, the prayers from Congress go no higher than the roof, regardless of who prays.

God's never been thrilled over a mixed multitude. ..that's what Churches are for.

Church s separate from state, and America is a multicultural, religiously plural society. What does it matter which religious person gives a prayer in the house of representatives? It's a secular organization supposed to be representative of all American cultures and religions ...
