I saw this verse pop up in the Youversion Bible app. We all are familiar with it, I'm sure.
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV
It is the verse of the day. We all have experienced opposition or struggle, but this verse is so good because we see His truth in it, because we have had His tender mercies show up, time and time again..
This leads me to this…
But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;
2 Corinthians 4:7-9 ESV
We must walk in the truth of 2 Corinthians 9:7-8
Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:7-8
Have you considered lately that a through Christ, we are called for something so much bigger than ourselves?
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
2 Corinthians 5:20 ESV
So today, I come bearing encouragement for us all, brothers and sisters, hoping to remind us all, to keep on keeping on. We mustn't get weary for the cause. We must submit to Him, allowing His strength to keep our hearts softened full of mercy, humility, and rejoicing, ready to love and serve. Thanks be to Him, He will keep us going, even in our weakest hours. He gives us His word, eachother, laughter (always need more of that, lol), yummy food, rest, nature, music, provision, and on and on. Of all of His blessings He gives in this life and there are so many, the greatest of all is Him.
In Him, we will always be blessed!!!
