God offered you the power He has Himself : give eternal life to a creature made at His Own Image. Think : each baby you have is a new servant of God, for eternity. It's a wonderful gift to our Lord and to you and to your child ! It's a free gift you offer each of them. If you don't, well you just don't make grow anything.

But the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 30 And throw that worthless slave into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth’” (Matthew 25:13-30).

9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

Since nobody has righteousness of his own, 'the unrighteous' must refer to those to whom Jesus has not yet imparted His own righteousness.

To us, who have Salvation,
All things are lawful. IMO this means that with respect to ANYTHING not specifically addressed by Scripture, we may PRAYERFULLY make our own decisions.
