The traditional age would be 33 because Jesus was born before the death of Herod the Great in 4 BC. But, on the other hand , some say his crucifixion was in 33AD which would make him be 37.

well the only census by quarinius in israel during the years jesus could have been born was done in 4bc its history. And since bc/ad werent until years after Christ came, 29 AD was when he died at 33 years old

Jesus was 30, when He began His ministry (Luke 3:23), and His ministry lasted 3 years to 3 and half years, so that would have made Jesus 33.
