read John 4:1-2

1 This is the way it had to be for the kingdom of God to advance.
2 Jesus preforming a baptism himself for one of His disciples is not in scripture but all his disciples how His authority to baptise. We don't have to be a pastor being a baptised believer yourself is all you need to baptise a new believer.
There are 4 types of baptism. 1 sprinkeling 2 pouring water over their head 3 having them sit in water while you pour water on their head 4 dunking them under water
now scripture never gives insructions of how to baptise.
There is also people who believe that the water you are baptised in matters.
1 In sprinkeling the water has to be sacred.
2 Another baptisism can only be done in flowing water.
3 Still another baptising in a place such as a pool or baptistry is good they may have a problem with baptising in the creek or river but it is easier to do it inside. There is nothing in scripture about the water for baptism ethier
There is even talk about what name to baptise in.
1 One baptises in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit
2 Another baptises in the name of Jesus
Now this can be agrued using scripture

Jesus was baptized by full immersion, He set us an example to follow: Mark 1:9-10 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. 10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: He came up out of the water implying that He was fully immersed.

John 3:23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
You wouldn't need much water if you're going to be sprinkled or poured, so that scenario fits submersion.

Also, baptism symbolizes death, burial, and resurrection with Christ. Rom 6:3-4 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised upfrom the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. One couldn't be buried if sprinkled or poured water; burial is lowering of the corpse into the ground, likewise burial in baptism is complete immersion of the person in water.

Now pertaining to what to say when baptizing, Jesus gave the instruction in the great commission...
Matt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Therefore the baptizer should say "I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" recognizing the triune God. Some denominations say "in the name of Jesus" but that is not the proper manner.
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 10:47-48 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
The Apostles were only stating that Jesus Christ authorized baptism, but they weren't suggesting that "I baptize you in the name of Jesus" was what one should say.

It is important that baptism and Holy Communion are done scripturally, even though they are symbolic, in obedience to God's commands.
