read John 4:43-54 these are my notes please share yours
43 Jesus spent two days with the Samaritans.
44 Jesus himself was not listenen to by his family or anyone He grew up with.
45 He was weclomed home because of all He had done. If they were not happy with what He did they may not have welcomed Him back.
46 Those in the Galilee had talked about how Jesus can heal and Word got to a Roman offical who had a sick son.
47 The man had faith that Jesus could heal his son before he died but may not have had faith to bring him back from death so he is rushing Jesus to go and heal his son. He probably did everything he could have to have Jesus go with him.
48 Jesus is upset people can not just believe because of the Word. Jesus said "a wicked generation seeks after signs and wonders"
49 The man calls Jesus sir this shows he has no idea who Jesus isand just knows He can heal his son.
50 "Jesus replied, "You may go. Your son lives" NIV
The man must of been in awe when he heard these words because he would have to go because Jesus was not going with him and he needed to see if his son was healed.
51 The servants were so happy they ran to him about the good news. The man did not run to see if what Jesus said happened.
52-53 The man did not know first off that what Jesus said had came true. If the man believed Jesus' word could of healed his son he might of asked did it happen at this hour instead of what hour did this happen. The man had to recall when he met with Jesus.
54 Jesus did two miracles in the Galilee and few believed but he did no miracles in Samaria and many believed just by the Word. All we should need to believe is the Word sometimes it might take more but sometimes the more we get the more we take for granted.

Well, John concludes the account of miraculous healing with,"This was the second miraculous sign that Jesus performed."

His first was in Cana (Jn 2:11).

John states that Jesus' miracles were signs (2:23, 3:2, 6:2, 14, 26, 30, 12:37, 20:30).
They were signs that show the nature of gospel grace or salvation; that is,
"the blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised and the good news is preached to the poor." (Lk 7:22)

So let's look at the spiritual meaning of the above signs.

--the blind receive sight - the spiritually blind receive spiritual sight to see the kingdom of God, to understand by faith what it means (Jn 3:3)
--the lame walk - the spiritualy unable (Ro 8:7) are made able
--those who have leprosy are cured - sin is healed - leprosy was a picture of sin (spiritual defilement), it showed visible defects, the skin being marred and disfigured (the spiritual effects of sin),
--the deaf hear - the spiritually deaf hear and understand (Mk 4:23; Jn 8:47)
--the dead are raised - the spiritually dead (Col 2:13; Eph 2:1) are given rebirth (Jn 3:3)
--good news is preached to the poor - the gospel is preached to sinnners (which is everyone)
