[h=3]John 6:25-42[/h]New International Version - UK (NIVUK)

[h=3]Jesus the bread of life[/h][SUP]25 [/SUP]When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, ‘Rabbi, when did you get here?’
[SUP]26 [/SUP]Jesus answered, ‘Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. [SUP]27 [/SUP]Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.’
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Then they asked him, ‘What must we do to do the works God requires?’
[SUP]29 [/SUP]Jesus answered, ‘The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.’
[SUP]30 [/SUP]So they asked him, ‘What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? [SUP]31 [/SUP]Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: “He gave them bread from heaven to eat.”[SUP][a][/SUP]’
[SUP]32 [/SUP]Jesus said to them, ‘Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. [SUP]33 [/SUP]For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.’
[SUP]34 [/SUP]‘Sir,’ they said, ‘always give us this bread.’
[SUP]35 [/SUP]Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. [SUP]36 [/SUP]But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. [SUP]37 [/SUP]All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. [SUP]38 [/SUP]For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. [SUP]39 [/SUP]And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. [SUP]40 [/SUP]For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.’
[SUP]41 [/SUP]At this the Jews there began to grumble about him because he said, ‘I am the bread that came down from heaven.’ [SUP]42 [/SUP]They said, ‘Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, “I came down from heaven”?’

25 Those who found Him were the men He fed from the city. His disciple do what they are told so they were not seaching for them. The disciples were told by Jesus that He would meet back up with them so they believed He would meet back up with them and He did so they would not have been searching for them.
26 These men got their fill of bread from Jesus. They wanted to see more of Jesus.
27 Jesus compares the bread they eat to the gospel, something He commonly did.
28 They still believed they could do something for God but these question was something they wanted to do ,seek to please God.
29 All we can do is believe and follow Jesus.
30 They wanted a sign. Today the Lord uses signs or events to pull us to them. The prophets perfored miracles to show they were from God.
31 This was deruing the Exodus and 40 years of wondering.
32 People during those days taught tha it was Moses's law or his miracles. Today we can put to much on those the Lord uses.
33 Jesus is the bread of Life.
34 They did not come to the conculsion of Jesus being the bread.
35 We can understand the word until it is spoken to us.
36 They needed more signs to believe it was not the word that they believed but the works of God.
37 We who seek Jesus will be recieved by Him.
38 Just as Jesus set the example we should also do the Father's will as well.
39 Our salvation is in God's hands when we come to Him.
40 It is God's will all will recieve. "Narrow is the gate that leads to life and few find it"

The Holy Spirit descended down onto Jesus, at his Baptism.

Then, Jesus said he "came down from heaven", in the Scripture cited above.

Perhaps that proves (?) that Jesus, the man, was speaking under the influence of the Holy Spirit, at that time ?
