[h=3]John 7:25-34[/h]New International Version - UK (NIVUK)

[h=3]Division over who Jesus is[/h][SUP]25 [/SUP]At that point some of the people of Jerusalem began to ask, ‘Isn’t this the man they are trying to kill? [SUP]26 [/SUP]Here he is, speaking publicly, and they are not saying a word to him. Have the authorities really concluded that he is the Messiah? [SUP]27 [/SUP]But we know where this man is from; when the Messiah comes, no one will know where he is from.’
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Then Jesus, still teaching in the temple courts, cried out, ‘Yes, you know me, and you know where I am from. I am not here on my own authority, but he who sent me is true. You do not know him, [SUP]29 [/SUP]but I know him because I am from him and he sent me.’
[SUP]30 [/SUP]At this they tried to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come. [SUP]31 [/SUP]Still, many in the crowd believed in him. They said, ‘When the Messiah comes, will he perform more signs than this man?’

These are my thoughts please share yours.

25 The Pharisees were planning to kill Jesus.

26 Because they were not saying anything the people may have felt that they were no longer looking to kill Him or even that they started to believe them this may have motatived some to believe in Him.

27 No one really knew where Christ was truly from untill He had said.

28 Jesus came from God to deliever men from sin. The people that did not accept this rejected God.

29 All the prophets were sent by God but in a different way in the way He sends us. Christ came from the Father to be sent. We or the prophets came from their home to go where Christ sent them.

30 They did not like hearing this and they tried to act out but, God's plan stood in their way. God's plan is more powerful than man's plan.

31 People believed by what He had done already. We should believe based on what He has done thru us that we are His.

Interesting and a lot of thought build up there, and I find this great.
They did not seize him many a times when they wanted to becasue of fear.
Fear today as was in the Old Terstament a crippler in not seeing God's Mercy and Love, even though fear of the Lord is the begining of wisdom,yet it is a crippler to mankind, just as when God through Moses put the Law in place the letter of, it only further showed Man's inability to ever make it to heaven by their own works, not seeing the Faith that brings righteousness to the person, not being their own ever, as Abraham showed and God credited Abraham's Faith as Righteous and the reason why is Abraham truly trusted God as righteous, and proved it by being willing to give up everything, knowing God can restore anything, and What God kept Abraham from doing, God did it himself with his own Son, ans as Abraham had already said in himself as he was going to sacrifice the Son God gave him, he said and I (Abraham) know God is able to raise him up agaiin for God is good. How many have this Faith of Abraham? How many are trying to please God by waht they are doing or not doing? How many are getting rewards from man, by what they do or not do? Is this the way of God who said go in private and pray, not prey as the heathens do, lookiing all good and righteous. Notice the differant spelliing of the word pray. or prey
Anyway God decided as from the begining to redeem all mankind through the cross the death, make us back right as Adam and Ever were before they ate from.
But this never gave life for death does not give life, The resurrection does though, and all those with a contrite heart, no malice, in them of deception for any self-gain will recieve the Mercy of God and show Mercy as God has given them Mercy. Then it is up to us to say thank you and just be one with God as God is one. We are participators, responders to this amazing grace, not creators anymore as this world teaches that, that we are creators and we need to create, when we really are not a God. Now the flesh in and of itself being Taught form birth on to do and get, is being taught to create and one will be blessed. A false teaching, if I create and do to get, then I am playing God and creating my own righteousness, think about this and ask God in your own heart.
Seperating flesh and Spirit
[h=3]Romans 8:3[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[SUP]3 [/SUP]For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh,

Hoping you see what keeps you free from sin, and waht keeps one in sin. The differance of flesh and the Spiruit of God
[h=3]Galatians 5:13-26[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[h=3]Life by the Spirit[/h][SUP]13 [/SUP]You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. [SUP]14 [/SUP]For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” [SUP]15 [/SUP]If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. [SUP]17 [/SUP]For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. [SUP]18 [/SUP]But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; [SUP]20 [/SUP]idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions [SUP]21 [/SUP]and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [SUP]23 [/SUP]gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. [SUP]24 [/SUP]Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. [SUP]25 [/SUP]Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. [SUP]26 [/SUP]Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
