Jumpin' in that Bible lol

Jump on in that bible
It's an exciting thing to do
Why I'm gonna sock that whale
That got Jonah, in the mouth
Is what I'm gonna do

Or hug and cry to my Jesus
Oh Jesus I love You
When I jump in that bible
Is what I'm gonna do

I'll say "You tell em John!"
At that river
When he called them pharisees snakes

Or hug precious Mary
When Jesus died
And say "He will be back!"
When....her heart breaks

Or take that serpent
And fling him out
If I could
Toss him out of Eden

Or say "Ey Noah...please don't forget about me"
When that ark was leavin lol

I would cuddle poor sick Lazarus
Before he was about to die

And picture how beautiful
It will be
To see Jesus come with clouds in the sky

Or see folks look surprised
When Daniel came out
Of the lions den unharmed

Or cry for just one honored moment
To hold baby Jesus in my arms

Hallelujah Hallelujah
How fun it is
To learn things about God that's true

When I jump in the bible
And praise our Lord
It's the best thing in life to do

Amen

Oops
I forgot to say
This poem I wrote to make some friends smile
But if someone would like me to fix it for your child
I would take a couple of verses out
Like the Noah line ( me yelling pick me up noah) was not educational for a child

But you know what Im sayin?

Parent take away or add verses yourself
It would be fun

For there are no adventures in a poem called Slackin in the Bible lol

It is a great idea for children. I hope you continue it...I don't have that kind of talent.

Yes! Love it... that totally made me smile. Except the part about Mary's heart breaking.. I can relate :) It's beautiful.

Yes! I love it... it definitely made me smile. Except the part about Mary's heart breaking - I can relate. It's beautiful.
