I'm not a very good story teller but hopefully this will come out how I want it to.
This past week I spent on vacation in the Smokey mountains with my family. All week long we rode horses and ate out like crazy. I was enjoying myself, but I knew before I left for the trip God wanted to show me something. I wasn't quite sure what, but I knew something was going to be learned. The last night we were there my dad called me out on the porch under the stars. He opened up his whole past to me. We talked about the wonders of God and how the world seemed to be getting so much worse. And in that moment not only did I feel extremely close to my dad but I also felt extremely close to God. Just looking up at the stars and knowing he has a plan for my life just made me cry. God moved me, in a different way. I love when you grow up knowing a certain thing and hearing it all the time, but it doesn't really mean anything until you experience it yourself.
