Leave It Unsaid

The man hurled insults at me
His anger was very great
A devil told me to curse him
But I chose to leave it unsaid

My car took me far from home
And then a mechanism broke
A devil told me to curse it
But I chose to leave it unsaid

My foot slipped on the ice
I fell and the pain was great
A devil said curse God for the cold
But I chose to leave it unsaid

One night I died in my sleep
Jesus stood by my side
A devil said curse him
But He chose to leave it unsaid
