As you go on journeys in life,
you may get stuck and need a sign.
Yes, a sign.
One that you can look anywhere and see.
You yearn to find that sign,
desperate for guidance.
Fear overcomes you when a sign does not show,
you become weak and fearful.
The moment a sign comes to view,
all hope is found.
That sign did it's job,
the job of a sign is to be a leader,
a guider,
a director,
a helper,
a destination,
and most of all....,
it is knowledge.
How often do signs get taken advantage of though?
A sign could be a warning, a direction, a flicker of hope, or even persuasion.
How often could a sign feel lonely, and simply used?
Would a sign feel upset when someone doesn't follow what it tells us?
That would only mean a sign was useless to us, and that sign failed to do it's job,
or was it really us not following that sign?
A sign may be confusing, but it doesn't get to chose what it wants to do,
we make it do it's job.
We should respect a sign,
whatever it means.
Not all signs come in one form,
some even come from verbal speakings.
When life's journey is getting rough,
look for signs.
Signs only mean direction,
guidance,
help,
and an end.
Most of all....,
it means knowledge.
