Mark 1:35-36 King James Version (KJV)
35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
36 And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.

35

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

35 Jesus being God in the flesh didn’t need to pray but He set the standard for us and we should make time to pray even if we have to get up early so that we can pray.

36 So His disciples came with Him to pray.

The Holy Spirit makes us one with God when we have faith. Perhaps this will add to your understanding of why Jesus prayed.

Also keep in mind Jesus counted it nothing to be the same as all flesh, even though He is God, the Everlasting Father, Counselor, Ruler of Peace, God Almighty.
