Hi everyone. I am a believer and am married to a muslim woman. I really wish to divorce her. I did not get a christian marriage. What do you think I should do? I am not saying that I will follow your advice but it will be food for thought which I will pray over.

Thanks
Matt
You should remain faithful to her for the rest of your life, unless she is guilty of unchastity:

And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for unchastity, and marries another, commits adultery. Matt 19:9 RSV

If she abuses you verbally, this is not love. She needs help and prayers but as you don't have a Christian marriage I advice you to leave her.

Separation is an option, but not divorce, unless she is guilty of unchastity (Matt 19:9).
