READ 1 CORINTHIANS 7:12-14...THE BIBLE CLEARLY STATES THAT IT IS UNLAWFUL TO GET A DIVORCE THAT GOD HATES IT...BUT HOPEFULLY THIS SCRIPTURE COULD HELP YOU IN SOME WAY...I WOULD JUST PRAY ABOUT IT AND LET THE HOLY SPIRIT LEAD YOU IN ALL THIS...IS HE A CHRISTIAN? IF YOU HAVE A PASTOR GO TO HIM MAYBE HE WOULD OFFER TO COUNSEL YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND OR WHOEVER YOUR TALKING ABOUT...I WILL PRAY FOR YOU ON THIS

This is the section for new users to say hello and introduce themselves. You should probably take this question to the Bible or Family sections. Not as many people read this section.

Response to Marriage, If someone's drinking is bothering you, help is available. Call Al-Anon Family Groups and they will send you and tell you where to find a group to attend in your area. Call worldwide information telephone number 1-888 4AL-ANON OR Try online for support : www.stepchat.com Help is available. It is all private and anonymous. There's always HOPE and fellowship. They are usually held at local churches in the U.S. and worldwide for support. 24 hrs. each day. Sending a prayer up for you today that God will guide you into the right decision. Divorce is not going to solve your problem until you understand yourself and why you chose this man in the first place. You will learn to have good bounderies and you won't accept unexceptable behavior from him or anyone in time by learning the tools of recovery behaviors. When we change first then the family situation gets better in time. Take care of you now ok and take it one day at a time. God bless you!

I'm sorry to hear you are in a tough situation. Ignore people who are saying you can't get a divorce. Sometimes you have to put yourself and your children ahead of someones intepretation of the Bible. Good Luck!
