Very good, very enlightening for my walk in this juncture - some points to talk about
Adultery --> Greed and Idolatry: is selfishness, is addicting, you can tell your an addict by what you fantasize about, and your looking for sex to give you the affirmation/security that only Christ can
That's a big blow to the ego!
4 things he listed as destructive greed/idolatry etc
1) Pornography and masturbation
2) all sex outside marriage
3) Belief that you can't be a whole person without sex
4) Having fairy tale dreams of a perfect marriage
This is what it does
Crushingly unrealistic expectations of looks and performance
Diminishes interest of the messiness of life - Instead of dealing with life issues - men go to porn - and it gets worse and worse
All women are more and more being forced to accommodate to pornography - in how they look, dress, act
As a guy who has been seeking after God to eradicate wrong thinking, and asking God to help me bare fruits of repentance in this area of my life - God has been an amazing provider! God is glorified in that, and I hope I glorify Him as I am being washed
