I feel as real followers of Christ, we should abstain from the idolitry America holds dear to thier hearts, its sad to see so many professing Christians, who know more abnout thier favorite TV shows, or movie than the word of God, I should know that was me.
Let us all not be conformed to this world, or let it distract us from the prize of eternal life!
Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God!
1Jn 2:15 Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,
1Jn 2:16 because all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jn 2:17 And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever.
