My Cat Is....

My cat is lazy.
My cat is crazy.
She is naughty.
She is haughty.
She thinks she's a queen
Even though she has seen
that I rule this house!

She won't catch a bug
Even if it's front of her on the floor.
She scratches on the rug
So I chase her out the door.
She has a secret that she
Doesn't want dogs to know.
That secret is, that cat's rule
And dogs only drool!

"I'm Just A Ladybug"

I'm just a ladybug,
I came here to spread love.
My wonderful creator
Sent me here, from heaven above.

I'm just a blue ladybug,
God made me very special.
I am unique, one of a kind.
My color is blue,
But I don't mind.

Blue is a calming color
And God knows it's true.
When people see me,
They smile and say,
"We're happy to see you, too."

I am just a ladybug
Here to offer a listening ear.
To spread my wisdom and knowlege
To all who care to hear.

It is this ladybug's privilege
To be here with all of you.
I'm especially happy
To be a divine shade of blue.

I hope when I meet my creator,
He will say, "job well done, little ladybug."
"Come into my kingdom, you'll meet Jesus later."
How happy this ladybug will be,
All snug in my heavenly rug!

"Just A Girl"

I'm just a girl
Living in my lonely, painful world.
I spend each day,
Trying to live for God's way.

Sometimes I cry,
beg and pray.
to be released from this pain
so I can enter God's world again.

Even through my pain,
I have learned much.
Lessons about patience,
love, humility and such.

God eases my pain day by day,
I'm learning to walk slowly,
instead of run.
For tripping on God's pathway
really is no fun.

"Suicide"

Sometimes these dark thought inside
torment me and I cannot hide.
The enemy wants to ensnare me,
he whispers, "come on, dare me."

Sometimes this loneliness overwhelms me
and I feel hopeless and sad.
Then I remember, the devil dances with glee,
every time I feel bad.

Many times I've wondered,
how much better off I would be,
if I took that step and ended this life,
what would be in store for me?

But I'm smart enough to know,
not to play into the devil's hands.
Trying to win my soul
is all part of his evil plan.

Instead, I look to Jesus
to lead me through this gloom.
He takes my hand and walks with me,
and tells me, "don't give up or the devil is your doom."

So I continue on with this life
until that beautiful day
when I shall see Jesus,
and look upon his face, if I may.

"The Darkness"

every so often I wonder,
why the enemy likes tormenting me.
I sit and ponder
why Jesus died for me.

The enemy whispers
"you're not worth saving."
But Jesus says,
"you are worth having."

In the end, I know who will win,
It will be the righteous one,
and not the one tempting me to sin.

I will live in glorious splendor
while the enemy burns far down.
He is nothing but an evil vendor,
being sent forever back to his part of town.
