* This is so touching *to me. My mom came from this village Kharkov, Ukraine. This also was where her mom was buried during the famine, where all the food, wheat was taken away, from 9 to 11 million Ukrainians, during Stalins rule. It could of been this very ground where the dance is done, where many could of been lying dying, or buried underneath. This dance shows the freedom, and as Ukraine became independent it truly became free once again. Now freedom is trying to be taken again. Soldiers have died, people have died, but as Lord as the sun rises each day, there will be a song to sing, and it will never, ever end, whether on the soil of Ukraine, or on videos, cds, or just in people's memories. My other grandmother from my father's side, did come to the United States, as all the rest from Ellis *Island to sign in the redistrar, my mom, had the old suitcase that said cccp stamped on it, which means USSR. United Soviet, Socialist Republic. Have they found freedom here in the USA, only they could answer that,,,,
