Nehemiah 3:27-28 King James Version (KJV)
27 After them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lieth out, even unto the wall of Ophel.
28 From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.

Nehemiah 3:27-28 Modern English Version (MEV)

27 After them the Tekoites repaired another section across from the great protruding tower as far as the wall of Ophel.
28 Up to the Horse Gate the priests made repairs—each one across from his house.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

27 So they repaired on the other side of the tower. And a portion of the wall, this was a group of people working together to do this, sometimes we are called to work together serving the Lord, we have to work together in love to do this.

28 The priests repairs to this gate this would have been the gate that people came up on horses thru or camels or things of that nature would not have been for those on foot. So this gate was near their homes so they repair what is in their back yard sometimes we have to take focus on what the Lord ha for us in the backyard.
