Hi everyone! Has anyone compared the new addition with the prior one? Is the commentary different? Does it give you much new? Is it worth buying it when I already have the first addition? I love my Nelson study Bible, but I want to try another comprehensive study Bible, still in NKJV. I tried ESV study Bible and it just doesn't suit me.

I've got a Student Bible that I found at Half Price Books, so I can't help you much.... but I was surprised how much easier to read than the original KJV it was.

Thank you. Mine is 1997 too. The new one is 2012 or 2013. Anyone have comments on the Thompson Chain reference Bible?

I have a Thompson Chain Reference and I have never used it. I much prefer my ESV Study Bible! It takes all types, I guess!

I have one and it is smaller than my study Bible. I don't use the tools.

Nelson has changed.
They now put out books like Jesus Calling by Sarah Young.

Thank you crossnote. I'm flabbergasted by this! Thank you for telling me. I won't buy a Nelson Bible again. It must be all about money!
