200 girls, 93 women rescued from Nigerian forest, nation's armed forces say
Nigerian troops rescued 200 girls and 93 women Tuesday from the Sambisa forest in the country's northeast Borno region, the armed force's verified Twitter account reported.
It was not immediately known whether the captives were members of the Chibok group kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists in 2014.
A second tweet from the military said the girls were being screened and profiled, promising further details as the investigation progressed.
